Big Quill Resources was originally a division of PCS (Potash Corporation Of Saskatchewan). A joint employee/community venture purchased this division from PCS in 1991. We are Canada’s largest producer of potassium sulphate (sulphate of potash) products. The purity of our products, the quality of our service, and our flexibility to provide the sizings and packaging that our customers require have created a demand for our product which has enabled us to expand three times in ten years. Our most recent expansion in 1999 increased our production capacity to 40,000 tonnes per year. We are situated near the largest source of potash in the world, and next to Big Quill Lake, a natural source of our sodium sulfate feed stock. The superior quality and purity of our products make it the ideal choice for a wide range of agricultural, horticultural, industrial, chemical and pharmaceutical applications. |
