About Sulfate of Potash

Potassium sulfate is a water-soluble salt that has many diversified uses. Although crop nutrition is the primary use of most SOP, it is used in industrial compositions, as an additive in some nutritional and pharmaceutical products, and even in grinding wheels.

Sulfate of potash (SOP) is a dual-nutrient compound. Big Quill Resources, through its two unique manufacturing processes, produces SOP with guaranteed levels of potassium oxide (commonly referred to as K₂O equivalent). The products from the Glaserite process have a 50.00% K₂O guarantee, and those from the Ion Exchange (IX) process have a 53.00%  K₂O guarantee. The Glaserite products contain 17.00% sulfur, while the IX products have an 18.00% sulfur guarantee.
